Meet Andy Pocock, DDS

Dr. Pocock was born and raised near Rexburg, Idaho. He grew up raising cattle, chickens, and moving sprinkler pipe on his parents’ farm. After High School he moved to the mountains in Island Park, ID where he worked until he left for an LDS mission to Virginia. Once home he attended BYU-I in the Winter months and worked sales in the Summer to pay his way through school. In 2005 he graduated from BYU with a B.S. in Science and Chemistry, then attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine until graduating there in 2009.
Dr. Pocock is married with 3 children. His wife is an author who writes fantasy novels for young adults.
His kids range from 18 yrs to 10. His family have enjoyed living in multiple areas as he has gained invaluable experience practicing dentistry. After graduating from Dental School, he worked for 6 months in Colorado in both a private and public health setting. In 2010 they relocated to Montana where he and a business partner started a large, multi-practice business. After 5 years in Montana, he elected to simplify life, focus on family, and relocated to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State where he owned a single private practice. There he spent 8 wonderful years treating patients and serving in Boy Scouts, as a board member for the Chamber of Commerce, and as the Chair to the Peer Review for the dental society. Recently he and his family made the difficult decision to leave friends and familiarity in Washington to be closer to extended family here in Idaho. They have found Twin Falls to be a significant upgrade in their lifestyle and are grateful to be home in Idaho again after nearly 20 years.
