Now Accepting VA Patients in Twin Falls
North College Dental is now accepting VA patients. If you're a veteran looking for a VA dentist in Twin Falls, you can get your dental care right here at home instead of making the two hour drive to Boise.
We're one of the few dental offices in Twin Falls that sees VA patients, and it's something our whole team is proud of. It means a lot to Dr. Mark Lambert in particular. He served four years in the US Army Dental Corps before he began practicing in the Magic Valley.

How to Schedule Your VA Dental Appointment
The VA has to approve your care before your first visit, so your first call goes to the VA instead of to us. Here's how it works:
- Call the VA office at (208) 422-1000. This is the main line for VA Boise Health Care, which includes the Twin Falls VA Clinic.
- Ask for a referral to North College Dental. Let them know you'd like to get your dental care at our office at 1411 Fillmore St. #601 in Twin Falls.
- We'll call you to book. Once we receive your referral from the VA, our team will contact you to schedule your first appointment.
Not sure what to say when you call, or wondering if your referral has come through? Call our front desk at (208) 734-2300 and we'll help you sort it out.
VA Dental Services in Twin Falls
Once the VA approves your referral, Dr. Lambert and Dr. Heintz can take care of most of your dental needs in one office, including:
The VA decides which treatment your referral covers. We'll go over your approved care with you before any work starts, so you know what to expect at each visit.
Who Qualifies for VA Dental Care?
Being enrolled in VA health care doesn't automatically include dental benefits. The VA decides dental eligibility based on things like a service-connected dental condition, a 100% disability rating, former POW status or a recent discharge from active duty. They make the final call, so the easiest way to find out where you stand is to ask when you call for your referral.
Don't qualify for VA dental? You're still welcome here. We work with most major dental insurance plans (including TRICARE), offer our Smiles For Life Membership for patients without insurance and have flexible payment plans through Cherry and CareCredit. You can find the details on our dental financing options page.

VA Dental Care FAQs

How long does the referral take?
That timing is up to the VA and can vary. If it's been a while since you asked for your referral, check with the VA or call us at (208) 734-2300 and we'll see if it has arrived.
